An exciting opportunity awaits – are you ready to step into the wind industry?
Assist the IT Department on a part-time basis at the local Global Wind Service office in Szczecin, Poland. This role will provide you with the flexible schedule to complete your studies while gaining professional experience. We therefore invite you to step into one of the fastest growing industries worldwide. We are seeking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Assistant to join.
TYPICAL TASKS
Recycle of IT equipment and asset management (cleaning, preparing, packing, sending of laptops, accessories etc.)
Mobile phones recycle and asset management
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers and peripheral devices
Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement improvements to the office network and computer systems
Some other basic IT tasks depending on knowledge – like creating user guides, adjusting documentation etc.
Job requirements
We do not expect you to master everything from the beginning, but we expect you to be eager to learn in order to get there. Training and support will be provided both at the start and throughout your time at GWS.
YOUR PROFILE
Currently enrolled as a student in an Information Technology, Computer Science, or related program
Good knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Microsoft Office Suite)
Familiarity with computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and basic network troubleshooting
Interest in IT field
Organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High motivation to learn and hit the ground running in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Team player, skilled in communicating with people from various backgrounds, open mind and flexible
Good level of English – written and spoken
