Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a team-player who wants to join the GWS in Poland to face the invoices, bills, scales and other challenges of finances, on the position of a Senior Accountant. You will work under limited supervision, cooperate with team of professionals and take responsibility for Your work.
Your responsibilities
Ownership of assigned accounting processes and ensure accurate and timely execution of daily accounting activities
Support and lead month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and AP/AR analysis
Collaborate with finance team members and business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes
Support and guide less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices
Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
Participate in finance projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement activities
Job requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Solid accounting knowledge gained through education and professional experience
Good understanding of accounting processes (AP, AR or GL)
Experience in working with ERP accounting systems
Advanced MS Excel skills
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements
Ability to support and guide less experienced team members
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to build positive working relationships across the organization
