At Global Wind Service, safety isn’t just a requirement – it’s a mindset. We’re looking for a committed and proactive Health and Safety Team Lead to join our HSEQ team and help shape a strong, responsible safety culture on- and offshore.

What we are looking for

As our new Health and Safety Team Lead, you will be the line manager for a team of HSE Field Officers and play a key role in ensuring safety performance across our projects. You will ensure smooth coordination, competence development, and that our high safety standards are met and continuously improved.

Your key responsibilities

  • Line management of HSE Field Officers, including resource allocation to projects

  • Track and report on safety KPIs (incidents and hazard observations)

  • Support and train new HSE Field Officers

  • Provide input to annual safety planning and strategic improvements

  • Conduct audits and site visits to monitor and secure compliance

  • Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Health and Safety Management System (IMS)

  • Develop training plans and ensure competence development for the HSE team

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as PMs, Site Managers, and the HSEQ department

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Quality, or a related field

  • Relevant experience from auditing, HSE coordination, or regulatory authorities

  • Solid knowledge of HSE standards and management systems

  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 45001) (not a requirement but a plus)

  • GWO BST and BTT certificates (not a requirement but a plus)
